What our video editing covers
Our video editing services start from footage you already have: a shoot, an event, a set of interviews, screen recordings, or a folder of clips generated with AI. We build the story, cut it to time, grade it, add titles and mix the sound, then deliver a master and cutdowns for every screen it runs on.
The edit is where a film is decided. The same footage can become a :30 spot, a launch film or a longer case study. Choosing which take, which line and where each cut lands is directing work, not trimming.
Footage from a shoot
We start by watching everything and logging it. Interviews get a transcript, and we mark the strongest lines in a paper edit you can read and approve before anything is cut. For events and product demos, we pull selects: the best takes, the reactions, the shots that show the product clearly.
The rough cut sets the structure and the pacing. Interview answers are tightened so each one makes its point, and the jump cuts are covered with B-roll. Screen recordings are trimmed to the click that matters, with punch-ins so the interface reads at phone size. Once your notes are in, the fine cut settles every cut point and every line.
Then the finish. The grade matches footage from different cameras and different days, keeps skin tones true and gives the film one look. Titles, lower thirds and captions go in, set in your brand fonts. Dialogue is cleaned of noise and balanced against the music. When the cut needs a shot nobody filmed, like a wide that sets the location or a product close-up, we can generate it from frames of your footage, grade it to match and mark it for your approval.
Footage generated with AI
Generated clips need a different kind of edit. They arrive as many short takes of the same idea, and no two takes agree on everything: a face shifts, a sleeve changes color, a hand warps for a few frames. The job is to find the takes that agree with each other and cut before a fault shows.
We cut on movement to carry the eye across shots from different models, then match color, contrast and grain so the film reads as if one camera shot it. Text the model garbled is replaced with real type in motion graphics. Clips made at low resolution are upscaled for large screens. If a shot can't be saved, we can generate a replacement against the frames on either side of it.
If the footage doesn't exist yet, AI video production plans it in 3D before anything is generated, so the edit starts from shots made to cut together.
From raw footage to final cut
Tell us on the call what the film is for, who watches it and where it runs. Then send everything through a shared drive: camera originals, separate audio, any script or transcripts, brand guidelines and links to edits you like.
You review at each stage: the paper edit or rough cut for the story, the fine cut for timing, then the finished film with grade, titles and mix. Notes by timecode keep each round clear. If the film needs more than a clean mix, sound design can build effects and ambience before the final mix.
Delivery is the master plus a cutdown for each placement, every one reframed shot by shot rather than cropped from the center, with caption files where a platform takes them.
How long the edit takes depends on the brief: the amount of footage, the running time and the number of versions. A schedule and quote follow the first call. If you need edits every month, ask about a monthly retainer.

Camera and phone footage, interviews, event coverage, screen recordings, drone shots, archive clips and stills. Send the camera originals rather than compressed exports where you can, so the grade has more color and detail to work with. Mixed sources are normal: we match them in the grade so they cut together.

Yes. Generated clips tend to arrive as many short takes, with drift between them: a face that changes, a hand that warps, text that won't hold still. We pick the takes that agree, cut before a fault shows, clean up small ones in the finish and grade every clip to one look. If a shot can't be saved, we can generate a replacement to match.

Not always. For interviews and events, we build the story from a transcript: a paper edit that marks the lines to use, which you approve before we cut. For ads and product films, a script or a shot list keeps the edit to the brief.

Yes. When the cut needs a shot you don't have, like an establishing wide, a product close-up or a cutaway, we can generate one from frames of your footage and grade it to sit with the rest. Every generated shot is marked in the cut, and you approve each one before the finish.

Yes. We finish the master first, then cut a version for each placement: 9:16 for Stories and Reels, 4:5 and 1:1 for feeds, shorter edits for pre-roll. Each version is reframed shot by shot, so faces and products stay in frame instead of being cropped from the center.
